26th March 2023 was a great success!
Sunday 16th February saw us out and about litter picking around Abbey Park. So much rubbish was strew about including many empty bottles of alcohol and a blue bag full of household rubbish which had been gaffer taped up and thrown into the grassed area near the bus stop on Buckfast Way/Dale close.
We are now having monthly litter picks which are advertised on APL Facebook page. ☺️
January 2023 New Year & a new Pick!
A hugely successful litter pick this morning and the sun even shone for us. Samantha and her mum, Margarita and Jayne joined Chris, Lisa, and myself for the first time.
It’s sad that so much was collected even though many areas are picked regularly by my partner when we walk the dog.
Someone clearly has a liking for Echo Falls mini wine bottles and Vodka as they are always regular finds. Sadder still, we are now finding empty wrap bags.
